Thanks to the advent of advanced printing technologies and sophisticated computer software, more and more companies are employing desktop publishing (DTP) to meet client needs. At its essence, desktop publishing involves using a personal computer to produce documents for mass printing and production. For example, you can employ Adobe InDesign or Quark XPress to lay out a company newsletter, which you can then photocopy for distribution.
